Since the day I met you,
There was a connection.
Could you be the one for me?
Could it be our inception?

You had a girlfriend,
So it couldn't be me.
I'll just have to wait,
'Till the day you are free.

The time is finally here
So we start out as friends.
How long should we wait,
To start our ascends?

We go out on a date,
And the night is just great.
Sparks fly on our first kiss,
Could this really be fate?

We talk for hours on end
I can tell you anything.
You are always there for me,
Could you be my everything?

Weeks begin to go by,
And things start to change.
I don't know what happened,
Don't you think it's strange?

I ask you what's wrong,
And you tell me 'nothing'.
But deep down inside,
I think you are bluffing.

The truth finally comes out,
I couldn't believe it.
I have a big family,
So you just want to quit?

If you can't handle family,
Then you can't handle me.
My heart is here waiting,
Do you have the key?
