Love At First Sight Poem by Adriana Sofia

Love At First Sight

On a warm summer night
Lay a man full of wonder.
He thought long to himself,
'Why another blunder? '

Woman after woman they came
Those of many various heights,
But no one came close
To love at first sight.

As he lay there as a lion
Waiting for his prey to come,
A woman came into view
And she made him go numb.

As their eyes made contact
He knew she was the one.
He has been waiting night and day
For this one woman to have won.

Walking up to his true love,
He knew by her smile
That they had the same thought
Of finally being able to walk down the aisle.

Years of waiting has come to an end,
And the two love birds are together at last.
This long wait was worth the while.
What's left to come will be a blast.

They talked for hours without a break,
Time zoomed past like time in space.
Midnight came about and they had to part,
But before she left there was one thing to be placed.

Knowing that she was the one,
He knelt down on one knee
And said with great courage,
'Will you marry me? '
