Ever felt the need to cut
But knowing that it would
Hurt them more
Than it would help you

That your death
Only would make
Them hate you more
And you can’t stand that

The fact that you
Don’t want to live
Cause it hurts to know
The truth

That they will
Leave and forget
You’ll be left alone
And they don’t care

You will go back
To the friendless state
Be depressed
And scared

You will try to kill
Yourself
And be free
Of the pain

But you know that it
Will hurt them more
When you’re gone
So you stay…
