Is it wrong, to want, to be wanted?
To be loved, and needed?

Is it wrong, to want the fairy tale wedding?
Is it wrong to want… the fairy tale life?

To be loved, and adored?
No pain, no strife?

Is it wrong, to want to be held, and hear the words, it’s alright…?
To feel safe, and protected, day or night?

Is it wrong to expect that faithfulness, is a given?
To trust in the one you love, and never even question?

Is it wrong, to want to be taken care of, by the man you call love?
Is it wrong, to want to be everything to him, friend, lover and wife?

Is it wrong, to want as much as you give?
Is this too much to ask?

If so, I must be a selfish, girl…
I give my all, and I want some back.
