Is This Life? Poem by Acerej Banala

Is This Life?

Is this Life?

Short, dark and flawed,
Thats how I describe what I own.
Curly hair and messy as my life,
Being judge without knowing my story behind.

I have friends that pretends they like me.
I am love by someones hypocrisy.
I have family but badly incomplete,
I exist but seems like I don't breath.

My hands are tied up by an invisible handcuff,
My ears were deafening by their words that are rough.
In every decent aura they show when I walk by,
I get blinded always by theirfake smile.

In life nothing's permanent
Everything's gonna change, hopin' for a change from other people's treatment
That someday they'll lend a hand and talk to me nicely,
Yet my mind is in doubt and tells me to expect nothing but cruelty.

Your poem is nicely penned but falls short to grab the reader's heed. Have a definite rhyming scheme and adhere by it or have only few exceptions.
