Is This Right? Poem by No Reason To Care

I no longer hear the voices
I see their lips move
I can see the wind blowing the trees
But cannot feel it on my neck
I see you standing there a blurry image of colors
Tears block my sight
You’re pushing me away
None of this feels right

I feel you leave as the world gets cold
And I dropp to my knees and cry
Watching oh so carefully
As thunder and rain rip through the sky
I stumble to my feet running after you
Hoping you’ll come back for me not believing that this is true
Closing my eyes wishing it all away
Hoping you’d turn my night back into day
A scream pierces the silence
And I can hear again
Broken sobs coming from my lips
Feeling comes back in my finger tips
I grab hold of a hand and feel its warmth
It pulls me up and into an arm
Whispering sweet words of love and sheltering me from the rain
Telling me your sorry and didn’t mean to cause to me pain
Saying you love me and holding me tight
Now this, this feels right
