Islam Is My Religion Poem by Inaam Ahangar

Islam Is My Religion

We are the ones who do believe
There is no God but Allah
We are the ones who were
Bestowed with the best religion
We are the ones who were
Bestowed with the best guide
We are the ones who were
Bestowed with the best book in the world
We are the ones who were expected
To obey the orders of Almighty
We are the ones who were expected
To follow the sayings of Prophet(PBUH)
And of the Holy book (Quraan)
We are none other than
Muslims!
But Now,
We have become spartans
We have become sinners
We have become reckless
We have diverged ourselves from the Islam
We have become totally unfaithful to
The Allah and his Prophet(PBUH)
We are leading towards the darkness
We are completely stuck
In the crochet of Shaitan
Let's raise our hands and make Dua!
Oh Allah!
Forgive us as you love
Forgiving
Rekindle us with your
Blessing
We are driven to wrong
Keep us on the right path
Bestow us with the
Felicity and Veracity
Ameen!

Well articulated and nicely penned with spiritual insight. Brave utterances set aside for sober reflection. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
