Isn't it funny when
someone you love isn't ready
They only want to hurt you
when you want to go steady
Isn't it painful when
you push them away
and they go willintgly
but they never like to stay
Doesn't it hurt when
you start seeing someone new
and the one you miss reappears
confusing you now on what to do
Isn't it hard when
you think he's finally changed
but you aren't sure
So your scared to play the game
Doesn't it kill you
when you let him back in
and the whole time your together
you're afraid of getting hurt again
Isn't it lethal
when you lie there dying
and the one you did it for
isn't even crying
Isn't it hard to swallow
when with your last gasp of air
you choke out you love him
and he says he doesn't care.
