Few heavy clouds are covering the sky
Above the lonely white house with brown door
Where at the window an old lady sits
And stares outside with gloomy sorry eyes.
Next to the house a couple stands and looks
Towards the door with their little child.
It is the lady's son, his wife along
With their daughter that are visiting.
The family is staying in the street,
They cannot go inside the woman's house
And she cannot go out to meet her son.
Pandemic rules are strict and they are harsh.
The little girl is waving towards her,
She's happy when she sees her granny, that
Is hiding several tears with a big smile
And yearns to hold her in her arms once more.
Aloha Robert and Cheers! Whoa... somewhat imaging, somewhat vulgar, ummmmmm, not the 'normal' UK residential street life... same picture and experience elsewhere on the planet... all is not yet the funeral dirge... best be ready for that potential on this street... ya read me? All of the best from this life, to you, and to all of our relations... Michaelw1two

Dear Keith, Thanks for your poem. In Australia we say " We're all in it together.'' I enjoyed getting up and reading not just your poem but many others. We definitely are all in it together and no matter where we are in the world a flower blooms, a bird sings, a poem is written and a song is sung to lift our morale.
