It. - Poem by Leah Nunya

The mask i wear,
It serves me well,
It hides the pain,
So they cant tell.

They see it smile,
Never my tears,
It shows no sorrows,
It hides ALL my fears.

They believe it is me,
If they only knew,
That it is a mask,
My saviour too.

My scars it hides,
Behind the laughter and lies,
It says 'Im Fine'
But slowly I die.
