It Ain't Me Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

It Ain't Me

You would transform into someone else
I'm seeing things that's looking so suspect
Sometimes I choose to say nothing
when I should be saying something

Have you lost your affection for me?
I know you once loved me, are you not happy?
I know you once cared for me
I know there's a problem
Does any of this mean nothing?
Where exactly did the loving
where did it..when did it disappear?
Can't seem to figure out
the day that I have lost you

i'm not sure on what you're up to
Something that'll be revealed in time
I've been asking myself questions
Since things started going left
and it won't be before long
something will have come up
Turning my whole world upside down

Is there something you're doing?
Cause we spend little time
Moments like this drives me crazy
Now our future is looking so hazy

Where we went wrong?
is it something I did?
can we try and fight?
can't fail if we quit
You've lost your mind
Open your eyes cause you're blind
love is sometimes a battle field
when survivors come out alive
