It hurts... I know
I'm so sorry my friend
Your heart is full
Of remembering him.

I wish I could help
But all I can do
Is let you know
That I'm thinking of you.

You see, I've been there
The same kind of ache
You just have to grieve
For your very own sake.

There's been so many bumps
In the road through the years
At times almost too much
For you to endure.

But God loves you so
You know that is true
He's hovering around
Watching out just for you.

Time does seem to heal
And slowly some peace
God's holding your hand
To bring you relieve.

He loves you more now
Than He ever has
He'll lead you along
His heavenly path.
