Autumn colors are now fading away
That last storm showed this is true
A little messy out there right now
My friend, is it the same for you?

The night turned cold quite suddenly
At least it seems so to me
Mr. Frosty has made his appearance
And has continued quite readily.

They said it would snow and it did
Though just a few flakes in the air
I love to look straight up to the sky
And feel it on my face and in my hair.

Thanksgiving is now left behind us
I put away all the festivities for fall
Then in to the boxes and cupboards
For Mr. Santa will be here soon after all.

But it is important to enjoy every season
It is a blessing we can share it is true.
And if you lived nearby, my friend
I could share all of my festivities with you!
