IT IS A PLEASURE AND A PRIVILEGE/TO BE ABLE TO WRITE A POEM
It is a pleasure and a privilege
To be able to write a poem
And afterwards read it back
To oneself-
And hear it as it were something
That truly is meant to be
A real thing outside oneself
Beyond one’s own control
A creation in itself-
A thing one has done
A little world
A page.
