It Is A Sad World I Live In
The sad world I live in
Throws balls of violence at me
Captured by the new digital cameras
And relayed by an endless stream of mass media
Which brings the violence to my living room
To be shared with my family at dinner time
And discussed with my colleagues at work
The endless violence displayed in our memories
