I have a spouse like that, Aldo. She believes herself to be ugly, a loser, and pathetic. I spend a lot of time just reassuring her that she is a decent woman. Uhm, yes we are lesbians, but leagally married because in the US I will always be considered a man. I don't know what being male, has to do with being a man, but I know who I am, and I know who my spouse is. Being a transgendered person, has nothing to do with being anything, except the person you are. That is all that matters. I have never seen a poetic piece written like this, but it does get the message across to the reader. Love & hugs, Barbara
