It Is Almost Too Beautiful A Day - Poem by Shalom Freedman

It is almost too beautiful a day
One does not know what to do
With all this sun and all this light
These pleasant breezes.

I walk and I walk slowly
Through the Old Katamon afternoon-
I have prayed Mincha
And I am as free
As the breeze
Which tells me,
‘Life is too good to be real.’
