It is apparent now—
Darkness and Light,
Corollary twins,
Each born of the other,
Each vital to the cycle of life.
What need, my mind asks me,
Do I have of darkness?
Why should I venture into
Zulumaat's depths,
Where shadows linger
And whispers rise?
Yet in the eerie glow of the dark,
My thoughts emerge, unbidden,
Each one a pulse, a guide,
Leading me to Your illumination.
For as night embraces day,
And day welcomes night,
The two entwined as lovers,
So too does my soul embrace its tides.
I gaze into the mirror of my being,
And see the truth reflected:
The ebb and flow, the rise and fall—
These rhythms are eternal,
Their song, the hymn of existence.
It was never about me,
Never confined to a singular frame.
In the vast expanse of darkness,
Where fear once resided,
I find my essence—
Boundless, unbroken.
Within and without,
I am. I endure.
I am the witness eternal,
The eternal flame that—
neither flickers nor fades.
What is this darkness,
If not a canvas for light?
What is this light,
If not born from
The womb of shadow?
In this sacred dance,
I see the infinite threads of being,
Woven into an enduring whole.
I am what I am.
I am what I have always been.
In light and in shadow,
I shall endure,
Forever.
