It Is I. Poem by Syed Anwar Yarkhan Jilani

It Is I.

Rating: 5.0

The wise once explained:
You are the true transliteration,
Become a standard of divination.
A veil through which the Sun,
A reflected loveliness shines
May be from within, or anywhere,
And whosoever it represents
I accept every order,
And conclude, "It is I."

@Natasa To. For a Sufi the ultimate aim is fusion with Beloved (God) . A Sufi has no likes, dislikes, wishes or wants and presumes everything is from Beloved. Life is a woe, pains and distress that he has to accept as from Him. Whenever, if at all, he is accepted by Almighty there is a fusion and then they are one. Beloved is I and I am Beloved. Say “water” in any language is remains the same. So are His orders that are now delivered through me and I have to say it in a way that you understand. So I do true “transliteration”. As God speaks through me that I say is correct will be found so and “divinations” by Kabala or any calculations may go wrong. The Sun is not independent and is under the command of God. So it is under my command but I am not interested in what is going on. My only aspiration is to love, please and be devoted to my Beloved.
