It is just not easy to forget
As I was in eternity,
Maybe I hide away from the truth—
Like Iblis, who refused
And glorified himself in arrogance.
I run away from Iblis and his sermons,
I believe I am of eternal, divine breath.
I can't figure out why I'm here,
And I know the only feeling in me
Is that I am not here by myself—
I am the will divine, the command divine.
It's the only feeling I can grasp,
A feeling so aware, so enlightened.
If this divine feeling disappears,
I'm sure I will be like cattle—
In fact, more astray:
'A heart that understands not,
Eyes that see not,
Ears that hear not.'
It is meaningless to be alive—
Dumb, deaf, and blind.
But looking through sober, divine eyes,
Reveals truths untold,
And I discover myself
In the divine image.
I should accept my divine life,
I should not shrink away from truth.
I'm nothing but a marionette,
Pulled by the unseen hand.
That's why I dance to
The divine tunes.
For I am not, but I am I-Am.
I-Am is alone!
I-Am has no friends, no foes!
I-Am begets not, nor is He begotten!
I-Am is in full manifestation!
I-Am is fully hidden!
Just me—can feel within—That's it!
