It Is Now Clear To Me... Poem by Mohammad Younus

It is now clear to me...
...I was the hidden secret that...
...I hadn't known before;
I was like one of cattle!
Indeed, even more unaware!
I have attained to some maturity...
...that gave me ability to know...
...my essential reality.

I thought about one and two...
...and so I failed to know...
...beyond my cage;
Now I have come out of the cage...
...and I am watching that nothing...
...at all can hold me;
I do not inhabit in the cage.
I see that nothing inhibits me.

I see that not even my body...
...can contain me;
I am in my essence a spirit
...that breathes, speaks, hears...
...sees, smells, tastes, feels, and thinks;
God created me by His command:
Be! And I came to be!

I am from the super spirit, imperceptible;
He maintains and uplifts me by His command!
He's my originator, my sustainer, my developer...
...my organiser, and my director, my Lord;
In a nutshell, I dare to openly say:
He is my origin! He is my essence!
