It is so easy to accept, if you know,
That you're lost in a dark room,
Haunted by heavy thoughts,
Confusing the lessons you must learn,
Of the illusion of self—
As a guidance toward the truth.
The illusion of the self that corners you,
Leading you astray, off the straight path
This wrong path won't lead you to Mekkah,
But to distant, foreign lands of illusion.
Don't let yourself be consumed
By whispers of falsehood,
For they will be your doom,
Letting you decay in illusion's abyss.
You've forgotten who you are,
My child, remember this truth:
You are the divine command
This secret even the angels knew not.
For you, the entire universe was created,
So that you may be His vicegerent on Earth.
Know this: command and commander—
are inseparable, as the speech and speaker
If nothing else, remember this at least—
Never forget this secret, you are the vessel,
A room of divine, eternal light.
