It Is When Half-Drunk Accordingly That The Spirits Still Tell The Truth And Nothing But The Truth.
there is something
common between us.
last night i read
the poem that you wrote
for me.
that it was good i honestly
disagree.
there is something
that i must agree just between
us anyway.
let us have beer
and lots of beer and then
when half drunk
let us tell each other.
it is when half-drunk
accordingly that the spirits still
tell the truth
and nothing but the truth.
so help me God.
