It Just Figures - Poem by Larisa Marie Davis

Things dont go so well
for me.
life resembles living hell
for me.
so when things suddenly seem so right
i know it may only last for the night.
but you promised me more.

and i fell into the bed and into your arms
and i fell into the lies and into the charms
and you took me there, a place id never been
ive been dying to go back, but only with him.

i sometimes wish you hadnt been so nice
to me
at least then i could pretend the problem
wasnt me
cause your a nice guy with a good head
who made a bad choice
to get in bed
with me

and i fell into the bed and into your arms
you led me to believe all your nice guy charms
and oh how we went to that place id never been
now id kill to go back, but id only kill him.
