It'Ll Come And You Won'T Even Know It. - Poem by Bera Tremoz

In life, in your sad little
you come across people,
good, bad, you don't care,
whores, druggies, bums,
wealthy bikinis and
preachers of all kind,
the whole lot,
they all pass your way
and drift off into milky dreams,
whoring, injecting, begging,
kicking and screaming,
the music's always too loud,
traffic always too stiff,
coffee always too hot,
some shit's always going down,
but your cracked face
your scars
your fears
will probably heal one day,
cos' you never know
when you'll get that
fatal blow,
the guillotine that'll snap
the memories
of the women you loved
the friends that got beaten
defending you
down an already full
wooden basket.

Not bad at all! From one who knows the date of their demise! (Report) Reply
