Accepting - Poem by Bera Tremoz

we are God's absurd ulcer
waking up and shutting down
filling our waste dumps
with glitter and sounds
and stuff to keep us away
from the uselessness
of a life begging
to be understood
when there's nothing
to understand at all.

What a provocative title that is for what seems like a negative outlook. The first line is a real grabber. Nice job. (Report) Reply

Whoa! This is profound! On the other side of this poem is someone who's gone pretty deep, I feel. (Report) Reply
