It Rained Poem by Rupert Nonyane

It Rained

rocks that schattered my window frames, broken glass all over the floor, I wonder why the misery was for,

the space that separate me and her was now filled with tears of past traumer relation, cheats cheated love for no reason, maybe just immoral,

I see them clouds gathering on my room, dark and unseen footage of bitterness, prayer from my moms vocal-cords, cleansed the anger arising.

it rained, just before my brain was found, before my heart was pure, sanity never prevailed,

slaughtered cow thankful for those that past never forgotten, next to it, is a tent of tears, mourning life taken,

it rained,
acid rain of an invaded womb, penetrated by lust, pictures of hell-hate condemned the beauty in her,

it rained,
but no one was excited.
