It's Exactly Like This

Like a grey cloud over my head,
like a million magpies for sorrow,
like a garden of empty flowers,
and a heart that's not full but hollow.

Winter could describe inside my heart,
cold, windy, snowy, and pours of rain,
Spring describes how a heart should feel,
happy and new, free of all pain.

Love lies beneath all red roses,
it's buried under dull and thick clay,
the roses above don't smell sweet,
they are withered and grey.

Like crying a river of tears,
having the desire to be hugged or kissed,
like lonliness, yourself for company,
wanting everything you had and miss.

Like ambition without pursuing your goal,
even trying and in your aim you don't succeed,
like all the support you want,
it's not there but it's what you need.

Like a non understanding person,
who hasn't a listening ear,
like a person with whom you can't share,
your inner thoughts and biggest fear.

Like being locked up in a room,
to turn to be really on your own,
like wanting to scream out loud,
because you're so tired of being alone.
