It's Just That Simple Poem by Phyllis Strong

I gave my life to Christ, with the Bible I did agree,
I confessed with my mouth
And believed in my heart
It’s just that simple, you see.

I asked God to forgive me of my sins,
And all the wrong I’ve done.
I believed that he raised Jesus from the dead;
His one and only son.

Romans 10: 9 here’s what the Bible say.
“That if you shall confess with your mouth
The Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart
That God has raised him from the dead,
You shall be saved.”

God will create in you a clean heart
And renew a right spirit in you.
It’s just that simple, you see,
I’ve told you what to do.

Now you say it,
While I take a pause;
And give my pen a rest….

Now, find a church home to grow spiritually,
Live for Jesus!
Do your very best.
