It's Me
Don't let my looks misguide you
You don't get what you see
It's me
The queen of trickery
& all that i'm about
is you seeing what I'm not
point blank
i don't show emotion
& like gypsies
trickery is my potion
it's me
& it doesn't get any better than me
i sweet talk your fiance
until i hear 'I Love You'
i get what i want
& then I'm through
because any sypathy i show
isn't me
it's lies
the only emotion i DON'T portray
is hate
i hold that inside
i never felt love
& i never will love
i'm an evil-mind dweller
& my intentions are never good
never get fooled by what you see

A very dark persona you portray in this one Ariel, the thing is, if 'It's me' is about deception, how does one know it's truth? Life is full of MissConceptions, it is up to us to see them or not. That is our journey. Great poem, very thought provoking. Smiling at you, wasn't me! lol Tai
