It's My Way
You say it's your way
I say it's mine
We stand on the rim of life
As it's passing by - our life is passing by
Yet, yours is yours and mine is mine
Time is slipping and it isn't your nor mine
Our hair is turning -grey and white
Affections, compassions, love and passion
when have we said to them bye and bye?
where has it gone -our youth, of rose and wine?
Ohwhere have you gone, lovers'life?
Tender touches and warm kisses
Dimple smiles,how I miss it
I was yours and you were mine
Time was on our side
Now…life is slipping by, time neither yours nor mine!

Another translation! I like this poem about aging and relationships. We don't own anything...we merely reside in this place and we have no control.
