It's Something Poem by Caitlin Prest

It's Something

It's something I wish that I could change,
Every moment with you drives me insane.

It's something I wish that you could see,
The fact that you should be with me.

It's something I wish that we could have,
Moments together with no worries on hand.

It's something I wish you would do,
Get rid of her and let me have you.

It's something I wish could start to grow,
A relationship with you and I thought you should know.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this is a message and gave it to the boy I have feelings for. He has a girlfriend, but he says that he wants to be with me instead ('moments together with no worries on hand') .

You were very bold to give him this, taking a chance at rejection. I applaud your raw, nakedness of words, exposing your innermost feelings for him and others to see. Very Nice Write! -Kelly.
