It Seems Odd To Me Poem by Raymond Farrell

It Seems Odd To Me

It seems odd to me
Those who preach most fervently
The gospel of evolution and natural selection
Often work in some government funded institution
Believe in big government, the virtues of the state
And above all the one thing they'd hate
Is to see natural selection applied to their case
And let a meritocracy rise up in its place.
