It Takes Annums For Me To Get This Serendipitous

It takes annums for me to get this serendipitous
Like cleaving through my wild rain forest
for that five leaf clover
Someone I connect this much with
So I can fall back, relax,
entrenched in the possibility, the use of 'forever'

Our words and worlds would weave without hesitation
Like overgrowth to abandoned chattels, it'll be that blatant
Mutual discoveries will come undaunted, And those slips of tongues,
those cutthroat honesties, uncovering pleasantly they're all wanted.

Charting each other's cranial territories with hasty life stories
Suddenly everything is less diluted
Despite our boldness, these beliefs I hold are less refuted
Each question unnervingly becomes less rhetorical
The musings are sprinkled with more things insecure
And one day, we'll know it's here, this feeling, this blindside comfort.
Sharing mores, being crazy knowing you won't think I'm absurd.

You spend your tick tock currencies, when lights escapes us
On coercing my secrets, dispensing crucial anecdotes on whirlwinds
of broken hearts, such epic tales riding on infallible trust.

With definite mind forays, our truths, I'm stimulated
My sleep, I'll forsake it, for just one hour more
just to have one more of yours.

By some happenstance, we engage in this social dance
So if I'm dreaming, I'll stay active in this glorious enchantment
Let's keep it pulchritudinous, it'll be downright splendid,
We'll keep this jukebox running, alternating our own ten cents
and hope the madness never ends.
