It Was A Perfect Dream Poem by Mohammad Younus

It Was A Perfect Dream

It was a perfect dream;
I ask you,
To let me be in this dream;
Stop telling me,
We will meet in reality,
In the Hereafter
The unspelled secrets
of the heaven,
Will not bother me now;
They unfolded to me,
In my sweet dream;
And descended on me,
As my thoughts;
You are fire,
And I am an ice rose;
I want your heat,
To melt me;
I am not dust;
I am from water,
And to water I shall return;
In dreams, I find you,
On the sublime throne,
Surrounded by,
The angels of sweet thoughts;
I will see you,
When I get up,
At smiling dawn of,
Effulgent light,
And sweet music.
