It Was You Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

It Was You

It Was You

The sunshine, warm and bright,
Kissed my face with pure delight.
A gentle breeze began to blow,
Whispering secrets, soft and low.

The world felt new, a fresh good start,
And then I saw, right from the heart.
A simple smile, a knowing glance,
And in that moment, in that trance.

The song the birds began to sing,
The joy that made my spirit spring,
The reason for the happy tear,
It was you, my darling dear.
