I still carry the anger
I still carry the hurt
I still nurse the pain
The betrayal
The lies
The deception

For so long I have encapsulated me in this box
Choosing to be all by myself
But I want a new dawn

I see a ray of light
I choose again this morning I see
Calling me to something better
Calling me to love again
Calling me to live again

Yesterday is gone
It's a new dawn
Yes it's a new dawn

Let me love again
Let me care again
Let me smile again
Let me trust again

I will do it right
