My Prayer
Not by power, not by might
Not by my ability, not my capability
My strength has failed
My strength will fail
My knowledge incapable of apprehending the beauty of His Glory
His splendor, Might, and the power of His presence
To see Your face Most Holy One
My prayer oh Dear Lord
Cast me not away in distress
Show me your eternal love
Keep me hidden in your Glory
Keep me from the flesh
Keep me safe from the claws of sin
Let my heart be inclined to do your Will and Status
This is my prayer
As I lay before you
So help me God
