It's Absolutely Fine This Life! Poem by Mohammad Younus

It's absolutely fine, this life,
So just take a deep breath,
And accept this gift of life,
Despite its adversities.

But look!
As a distinguished visitor,
You have come to visit this world...
...leaving behind paradise;
As the chief representative of,
The Lord of Life:
The Creator! The Originator!

And know!
You haven't just come here,
On a pleasure trip,
For making rounds and then go,
Save fulfilling the elementary needs.

And Know!
Your great powers and intellect,
That God has invested in you;
Man in this world, that you've got to use,
For your benefit and benefit of all.

And know!
The Merciful One has created you,
In His wondrous image,
So merciful you too have to be;
You're the word of God,
His speech and His Secret book!

And know!
You alone have the Divine Intellect,
To acquire knowledge and wisdom;
You're the outstanding creation of God;
Only into you He has breathed of His spirit.

And know!
The divine honour from the Quran:
'We have conferred dignity,
On the children of Adam,
And borne them over land and sea,
And provided for them sustenance,
Out of the good things of life,
And favoured them far above,
Most of Our creation.'
