you are the one i chose to enter into that place
you sat down while i picked up the pieces
slowly we began to put it back together
some pieces were sharper than others
some of them cut both of us
yet you spoke kindly and kissed me tenderly
when fear cropped up
you were steadfast and unwavering
before my eyes two became one
at times i thought it won't work
you said "it's ok, it's enough, it's beautiful"
the scariest choice became the easy one
you became my wife
here we stand together in love
you love me
and i love you
