It's Life Poem by Mohammad Younus

It's Life

It's life—
oh life—
and its...

A brisk look out the window—
grey and glare shape the shadows,
They're black and white, truly
divine tapestry,

When touched by daylight,
No dark dwells here,
the night now dons light's robe,
radiant beneath the sun's bright reign—
and I blink in the now, in the here.

Light flows into the heart,
splashing against its walls—
dissolving shadows,
allowing no trace of night to linger.

In daylight, dark dreams will not recreate.
Peace and love hum in my ears—
the divine melody of peace and love.

I know I've been talking to myself—
me with me—
my eternal truth.

Sunlight and I intertwine,
and as I wake,
I reclaim consciousness.
I am enlightened—
fully know, I am Hu, Hu is me.
