Ive Always Had Power Over You Poem by Whisper Smith

Ive Always Had Power Over You

You made me Confused
But mainly you Abused
I was down to Skin and Bones,
Thanks to your Sticks and Stones.
But not just that your Words hurt me too.

Deep, I would dive
To get away I did thrive.
You said you knew I was a human being,
A living, breathing thing.
But you made me feel like, I was no more
Than a dirt covered floor.

You thought you would be the one to catch me when I fall
No, Instead you backed me against the wall!
You say you wanna be my hero?
No, your nothing but a zero!

So I burned your sticks,
And I threw your stones!
I'm way more than skin
Way more than bones!

And even though I play your words in my head,
Nightmares make me wake crying in bed.
I'm still more powerful than you will even be!
Because so what if you hurt little me?

I left you, alone you will stay
You will be alone every day
By yourself you will cry.
By yourself you will die.
Your gonna wish I would show you love,
Wish I Would set you free of my hate, free like a dove.

And if I do what's right...
I mite.
And If I want a defeat...
Ill make you bow at my feet.

But the real way to win over you,
Is to do what you never could do.
I will set you free like a dove
Ill give you my love.
But when I give you it all straight from the top
That's when you will ask me too stop.
Because its then you'll see
You have never had power over me.
