I've Often Wondered Why Poem by Mohammad Younus

I've Often Wondered Why

I've often wondered why
I do the things I do to see—
The light of divine wisdom,
Yet all I can truly say is this:
It flows from my heart to me.

For all I do arises
From feelings deeply stirred,
A whisper in the soul's depths,
Yearning to be heard.

When it rises from the soul's core,
You know it's born of love—
A love that springs from Love itself,
Revealing through all creation.

Love born of tender elation,
Love born of spiritual elevation,
A radiant hymn of grace and compassion.

Share this love—the most precious gift—
Transforming the worthless into gold.
But first, become a vessel of love,
So others may see what Love truly means.

If it stirs a quiet intuition,
A warmth within the heart,
Then you'll know it comes from the divine—
A whisper of truth, where love imparts.
