Jack Poem by Marcus Cosgrove

Jack

Revere the flag with joy and pride
Knowing well it is our guide
Defend the weak
Support the poor
It's this our Nation's for

Too many people turn their back
As soon as there's sign of attack
When all around is looking black
Turn and face your Uncle Jack
And live your life with pride

It is a source of enduring hope
And we know with all that we can cope
And everything is within our scope
Anyone can climb the rope
And live their lives with pride

How diverse the crowd that we are in
It matters not what colour skin
Free and equal and of one kin
We're all without we're all within
As we live our life with pride

Lets praise the constitution wise
And show our pride, Where er it flies
No need your faith, To ever disguise
And watch our people proudly rise
Lets fete our Uncle Jack
