January Snow Poem by Jeanne Mason

January Snow

The big flakes fell softly to the ground
Under skies of grey.
The wind blew, swirling the flakes;
Birds flew about searching for food;
I saw small tracks in the snow of a passing cat;
The temperature fell and the snow fell on.
