Jasmines Poem by Victoria Hardy

Jasmines

That afternoon
I went out
The season was somewhere
Between summer and winter
Just like the sky.
There was a little breeze
Big enough to carry jasmine scents
And just like jasmines blending in the wind,
You would blend in me.
Yes the sky was purple
But we would manage
To make love under it
For we were
A poem,
Alive.
