Victoria Hardy

Beautiful - Poem by Victoria Hardy

Is it really beautiful
To be beautiful,
That in a world
So manipulated by nothing but
Hatred and jealousy?
Is it beautiful
Really
To be beautiful
To everyone,
That see every touch
To belong to your body
As nothing but an opportunity?
To become an object only,
Of your own appearance
But
As I wanted to be beautiful
Only to you,
Is it?

A Thing Of Beauty Is A Joy For Ever - John Keats. Indeed, it pays to be a beautiful person, since love inherent in inner beauty fosters the universal brotherhood of man. A well articulated piece of poetry insightfully penned with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Victoria. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
