Je T'Aime
It would not be enough
to simply say
'Je t'aime'
but, instead,
to let those words echo,
and they echo still,
to the resounding beat of my heart.
The song
the chorus
the hours to be spent singing,
and I sing still,
of your hand on mine,
of my hand on yours,
as we lay
in view of the stars,
and of how
one person,
just one person,
could be so content,
and be so content, still
