Jean Poem by Joseph Milnes

Jean

Her hair is gold like wheat
in the setting sun
Her skin is a soft as a
baby's breath
As far as you search
if you wish to compare
Be heart broken for none are so fair
Gentleness and tranquility
is the mantel she does wear
and only to repeat for those who care
The stars belong to one so fair
