Jesus didn't hate prostitutes
Or the tax collectors with their attributes,
With them he did dine
With them he shared bread and wine.
Jesus said love one and another,
Maybe as a child who loves their mother.

Jesus didn't hate Judas
Him he didn't judged or cuss,
Even when by Judas he was betrayed
Before the crucifixion for all Jesus prayed.
Peace we must all seek,
So always turn the other cheek.

Jesus didn't hate Peter
Not even one small meter,
Even after knowing the Lord he denied
Then the Lord was crucified.
Jesus forgave,
To hate, and to the Devil we must not be a slave.

Jesus didn't hate the soldiers or the people
Who were against the Lord in their steeple,
Jesus said they don't know what they do, forgive them
As the soldiers had crucified him.
The thief on the cross asked the Lord to, "Remember me",
"Tonight", Jesus spoke, "you will be in paradise for eternity".

Jesus didn't say, "Hate and judge and never forgive"
He didn't say suffer and die, and not live,
Loving God and others is the most important thing to do
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and soul, and mind being true.
This is the first and great commandment, the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself and never quit.
